Each week the Secretary of Pennsylvania Department of Aging, Brian M. Duke, releases a Friday newsletter with information relevant to activities, issues and events for older Pennsylvanians and persons with disabilities across the Commonwealth.
This week’s letter begins: “I write today as one of my final acts as Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging.”
And Secretary Duke introduces Pennsylvania’s incoming Secretary of Aging, “Teresa Osborne was appointed this afternoon to be the next Secretary of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging. Ms. Osborne is currently serving as Executive director of the Luzerne/Wyoming Counties Area Agency on Aging. She previously served as chancellor and chief operating officer of the Diocese of Scranton, and prior to that was executive director of the Lackawanna County Department of Human Services and executive director of the Lackawanna County Area Agency on Aging.”
