An Evidence-based Training Opportunity for Clinicians Focusing on Veterans with PTSD

The PA Department of Human Services/Office of Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services will be offering three regional Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) training sessions throughout the state in June 2015.    CPT is an empirically-supported treatment for Veterans with PTSD.  Click here or on the graphic below to download the training brochure.


Please note that this training is for clinicians who are licensed (or license-eligible) to provide psychotherapy for PTSD (Psychologists, Licensed Counselors, Social Workers, Nurse Practitioners and Clinical Nurse Specialists) are welcome to apply.   This includes practicum students, psychology interns, and postdoctoral fellows.

This evidence based offering entails a 2 day live session offered by a CPT trainer and consultant and weekly one-hour telephone case consultation for a period of 6 months.

Please note that accepted applicants will be responsible for all their own travel costs.  Applicants may want to inquire if their employer will fund their travel.

Registration is due by  May 22, 2015.
