“Project CHALENG (Community Homelessness Assessment, Local Education and Networking Groups) unites homeless service providers, advocates, Veterans and concerned citizens toward the goal of meeting the evolving needs of Veterans who are homeless.”
“Please join others at the Lebanon Veterans Affairs Medical Center on Friday, August 26, 2016, for the annual Project CHALENG (Community Homelessness Assessment, Local Education and Networking Groups)/Homeless Summit meeting. This year’s event will be held at the Lebanon Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center from 8 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in Building 22, Room 219. Registration and networking will begin at 8 a.m., and the program will commence at 9 a.m.
“As you may know, the main goal of Project CHALENG/Homeless Summit is to network with stakeholders in the community who are involved with serving homeless Veterans, as well as formerly homeless Veterans. This invitation extends to stakeholders from Lebanon VA Medical Center’s nine county service areas. This event has proven to be one of our best opportunities from year to year to formally meet and exchange information about resources we have or need.”
Enhanced networking opportunity exists with a “Community Service Provider Fair” from 8 a.m. – 9 a.m.
Due to meeting room space constraints, registration is strongly encouraged.
