The Lancaster City favorite is back, filling Binns Park and Ewell Plaza with the sounds of spirited brass music. Plus, shop for handcrafted holiday gifts in Ewell Plaza and enjoy food from the two food trucks that will be on-site.
Light Up Southeast December 3rd • 6:00–8:00PM
Join Lancaster’s Southeast community as they unveil colorful displays that sparkle and shimmer along South Duke Street.

Lancaster Shops Late December 8th • 5:00–8:00PM
Experience the once-a-year retail experience as Lancaster City’s shops, boutiques, and more stay open late into the night.

Holiday Extravaganz a December 8th • 5:00–8:00PM
Visit the Welcome Center for cookie decorating, hot cocoa, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and visits with Santa Claus!
Presented in collaboration PCA&D, Lancaster Rec, the Demuth Foundation, and Lancaster Creative Reuse.
Santa in the City December 8th • 5:00–8:00PM
December 10th & 17th • 10:00AM–3:00PM
The Lancaster City Bureaus of Fire and Police will escort Santa through Lancaster City as he visits Ewell Plaza in downtown Lancaster and the neighborhoods.
Menorah Lightings December 18th–25th
For each of the eight nights of Hanukkah members of the Jewish Community Alliance of Lancaster will ceremonially light the public menorah in Penn Square.
