• “An important aspect of having a comprehensive and effective adult protective services program that is consistent and uniform is having a standard, statewide telephone number to call in order to report cases of abuse and neglect. Our Protective Services Hotline (1-800-490-8505) will continue to be used for this purpose; and the initial Report of Need for Protective Services will continue to be completed by the local AAA. Aging Program Directive 15-24-01 outlines the specifics of this process. We are committed to assuring the public that referrals are received and investigations are initiated in a timely manner.”
