Pennsylvania Council on Aging asks for your input on dementia resources and “avenues of communication”

The Pennsylvania Council on Aging (PCoA) is working on goals related to the recently approved state Alzheimer’s and related dementias Action Plan. Click here to download the Pennsylvania State Plan for Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders,

As part of our work which is initially focused on caregiver support, we are seeking feedback from various agencies and stakeholder groups regarding the two areas:

  1. “What are the resources for Alzheimer’s Disease and related Dementia caregivers that you would recommend or are currently utilizing to your residents/clients?”; and
  2. “Please suggest the avenues of communication that you feel would best raise awareness of these resources and issues.”

We hope to be able to compile a list of best practices and resources and also to identify the best methods and locations for getting this information out to patients, caregivers, interested community members, and health professionals. We appreciate any information that you can provide us.

Please send all responses to Brenda Hage, PhD, DNP, CRNP, PCoA at bhage@misericordia.edu
