The Office for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (ODHH) is excited to bring you Hearing Loss Expo 2016, the only one of its kind in Pennsylvania! It is not just exhibitors handing out brochures, free pens and answering your questions. No, no, no, it’s much, much more! Where else, for free, can you:
- Get your hearing screened,
- Try assistive technology and see interpreters in action,
- Learn and network,
- Attend educational presentations, and
- Get resources from around the state!
Here’s more about The EXPO:
- Educational presentations
Interactive Workshop: Blurry vision Struggling to hear. Hearing Nothing. What is that like? – space is limited and registration required
Training – “Understanding the Needs of People Who Are Hard of Hearing: A Practical Approach” – registration required
A Day of Discovery: Program for transitional students who are deaf, deafblind, or hard of hearing
We’ll look forward to seeing you at the EXPO; the Pennsylvania Link to Aging and Disability Resources | Berks-Lancaster-Lebanon Service Area 13 will have an exhibit table at the EXPO, as will several Link partners.
